Podrum Vukoje

Vukoje Ltd has been present in business world since 1982. Its forerunner was a small catering establishment Kosuta where the story about VUKOJE wine and brandy actually started. When at last the war on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina had ended, the company was reregistered as a limited liability company (Vukoje Ltd). Then, in 1996, the wine story started out as a small cellar only to become the modern one in 2000. Nowadays spirits are produced using up-to date equipment, which includes controlled conditions of fermentation and cold stabilization. The 8-meter underground wine cellar provides the ideal storing conditions that allow wine to age at an elegant pace. The building, technologically set by a group of enologists from Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina, was completed in 2005 and today is one of the most modern buildings in Southeast Europe. Obviously, it turned out that the company has been a success story.

As the first wine producer in the Republic of Srpska, the company has set standards and laid foundations of this field in Eastern Herzegovina. Moreover, it has given Trebinje, where the company’s head office is, a special significance.

Vukoje Ltd appeared at fairs for the first time in 2000 in Belgrade, and in that same year, it won two gold medals for red wine Vukoje Vranac and Herzegovina grape brandy. From then on, it has been awarded over 70 medals at the international fairs in the country and region wide.
